Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to the Chief Commercialization Officer and working with the company’s Account Executives - the Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting a wide range of coordination, research, content production and administrative activities related to the company’s business development and promotional activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supports strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve corporate business development objectives for Kinetic’s Services
  • Prepares draft reports, background documentation, and research
  • Identifies targeted leads for pursuit by Account Executives and CCO
  • Coordinates email campaigns, social media content, events and conferences
  • Monitors competitors and prepares intelligence reports
  • Analyzes marketing programs and recommends tactics to increase effectiveness
  • Provides reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing/event programs
  • Assists with communication to prospective customers and internal communication to Kinetic’s employees, coordinating meetings, calls, and documentation
  • Supports preparation for presentations and sales meetings
  • Supports preparation of contracts and agreements
  • Provides direct administrative and office management support to Kinetic Cafe’s executive team, as related to Business Development Initiatives
  • Researches and maintains network of media targets for PR and promotion
  • Prepares travel schedules, books travel arrangements and makes reservations for sales related travel of Kinetic staff.
  • Takes minutes during conference calls and meetings.
  • Develops and maintains monthly sales reports and other reports as required.
  • Maintains communication schedule and deadlines with channel partners

 

Requirements:

  • Post secondary education required, preferably with a business or marketing focus.
  • 1+ years related experience required.
  • Experience coordinating projects, developing project plans and completing projects on time and on budget.
  • Knowledge of retail and technology industries would be an asset.
  • Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision are essential.
  • Ability to work independently is imperative.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with graphic design programs and Salesforce would be an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team player and capable of thinking outside the box.
  • Detail oriented and able to accurately proofread marketing materials.
  • Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Ability to make sound, timely, and accurate judgment while supporting reasoning for
  • Decisions.
  • Excellent writing skills including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Basic design skills in support of preparing presentations an asset
  • Professional, responsive, and a positive work attitude.
  • Resourceful, flexible, and well-organized.
  • Strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate professionally.
